Swingers Etiquette - Rules Swinger Behaviour Guide
Swingers etiquette really is just common sense but it can be surprising that
many people seem to leave this and their manners at home! Just because there may be some sexual
activity ahead does not mean that you can act like animals - respect is the most important
commodity when swinging! and in all cases ask first don't just dive in !!!
 General
Swinging Rules:
- Online - Be friendly, even if you aren't intereted in someone there is no excuse for being
rude, let them down gently and rember other people's feelings.
- Safety - When you arrange to meet up with someone new always
make sure that you let someone know where you are going and have a get out plan in mind
- Limits - Before any sexual activity commences set your limits, if everyone states how far
they are prepared to go and if condoms are to be used the proceedings will be safe & fun for
everyone involved
- Hygiene - Shower, shave, brush your teeth,
use deodorant, trim your nails, etc as
there's no bigger turn off than poor hygiene. Take your own bag of toiletries, towels &
safe sex supplies - it's unhygienic to share towels and it is always good
to know that you have your favourite lubes & condoms to hand.
- Drugs & Alcohol - Drugs are generally considered a no-no on the scene and although most people
like a social drink but too much and becoming drunk isn't fair to anyone and is likely to just
spoil the night as you wont be able to function properly!
- Be Aware - You may be a very confident person but the person/people
you are with might not be so just take time to check that everyone involved is happy with the
way things are proceeding and never assume someone is happy to do something new!
- Just Say No - On the other hand, if you are in a situation
that you feel uncomfortable in speak up and say so. Swinging is about having fun but it must
be safe and enjoyable for all participants.
